The steps differ slightly between the TikTok app on a phone and the website on a computer, so both are below.
On iPhone or Android

Can I download TikTok videos on iPhone?
Yes — it works in Safari and Chrome on iPhone and iPad; the file saves to Files or Photos.
Why do some TikToks still come back with a watermark?
Because for that particular post TikTok only serves the stamped rendition. The clean version is not something we can generate — it either exists on their servers for that upload or it does not. When it is missing, you get the watermarked file rather than a re-encode that would look worse.
Can I download a TikTok photo slideshow?
Yes, and it comes back as the individual photos rather than a video. A slideshow is stored as separate full-resolution images with an audio track laid over them, so saving it as one clip would mean re-encoding stills and losing quality.
How do I get just the sound from a TikTok?
Paste the video link and choose the MP3 option. This extracts the audio track from that specific post. It is not a music library — it only gives you the sound attached to the link you pasted.
Does it work with a link from the TikTok app's share sheet?
Yes, and that is the recommended route on mobile. The share-sheet link resolves to the post cleanly. Shortened vm.tiktok.com links work too — they are followed automatically.
Can I download from a private TikTok account?
No. If a post requires you to be an approved follower, it is not publicly reachable and this tool cannot fetch it. Only content that loads without signing in will download.
