How to download Facebook Stories
The steps differ slightly between the Facebook app on a phone and the website on a computer, so both are below.
On iPhone or Android

Find the video in the Facebook app
It has to be on a public Page or a post shared publicly — if you can only see it because of your friend list, it is not reachable.

Tap the three dots, then Copy link
The menu is at the top-right of the post. On Reels it is on the right-hand rail. This produces an fb.watch or facebook.com link.

Paste it here and choose HD or SD
Both renditions are listed when Facebook has both.
On a computer

Open the video on facebook.com
Click the post's timestamp or the video itself so it opens on its own page.

Copy the URL from the address bar
Any of the /watch/, /videos/ or /reel/ forms work, with or without the tracking parameters Facebook appends.
