How to download TikTok Stories
The steps differ slightly between the TikTok app on a phone and the website on a computer, so both are below.
On iPhone or Android

Open the post in the TikTok app
Tap the video in your For You feed, a profile, or a search result so it is playing full-screen.

Tap Share, then Copy link
The arrow on the right-hand rail opens the share sheet. "Copy link" is in the top row of icons — this is the link that carries the clean rendition.

Come back to this page and paste. You will see the watermark-free video where TikTok provides one, plus MP3 if you only want the sound.
On a computer

Click through to the post's own page so the URL in the address bar ends in /video/ and a long numeric id.

You do not need the share dialog on desktop — the page URL works. A profile URL will not; it has to be a single post.

Why do some TikToks still come back with a watermark?
Because for that particular post TikTok only serves the stamped rendition. The clean version is not something we can generate — it either exists on their servers for that upload or it does not. When it is missing, you get the watermarked file rather than a re-encode that would look worse.
Can I download a TikTok photo slideshow?
Yes, and it comes back as the individual photos rather than a video. A slideshow is stored as separate full-resolution images with an audio track laid over them, so saving it as one clip would mean re-encoding stills and losing quality.
