Can I save Pins from a secret board?
No. Secret boards are visible only to their owner and invited collaborators, so their Pins are not publicly served and cannot be fetched.
Why is the downloaded image larger than the one on the board?
Because the board shows a generated thumbnail sized for the grid, while this fetches the original the pinner uploaded. For photography and print-quality graphics that is often a very large difference.
How do Idea Pins download?
As separate files, one per page. An Idea Pin is a sequence — each page can be a video or a still with its own audio — so combining them would mean re-encoding and losing the structure. Each page is listed so you can take what you need.
